國際歌

《國際歌》者，勞工奮興之樂章也。西元一八七一年，歲在辛未，法蘭西巴黎公社起，事敗，委員歐仁·鮑狄埃悲憤填膺，乃撰其詞；同黨皮埃爾·狄蓋特爲之倚聲。其歌主於去階級、均貧富，號召寰球赤子同心戮力，以造大同之世。故凡義主社會、共產及無政府者，莫不家弦戶誦，第一、第二國際咸奉爲會歌。蘇聯建政，初以此代國歌，歷二十有七祀始易他曲。華人瞿秋白，早歲譯以餉國人。後瞿氏爲國民黨所執，臨刑，誦之慷慨。

瞿秋白嘗譯此詞之第一、二、六段，爲漢地直語。一九二三年六月十五日刊諸《新青年》（季刊）第一期，未署譯者名。略改直語虛字、動詞等，合於書契（復按雅譯於後），則如下：
