民等競爭（class struggle）者，蓋貧富貴賤之相軋也。
昔者史家，以此爲貨殖之爭而已。及馬克思出，始揭古今歷史，無非階級爭鬬之迹。此乃羣治消長之公例，非私意所能爲也。
平民欲求自知，必先隳富室之名理，而踐行爭鬬。及其終也，非鼎革以新世運，即兩敗而俱傷。[一]若夫資本橫行之世，其勢必趨於勞工專政而後已。
