Johann Adam Schall published a book in Chinese and Latin in 1626. It was called Yuan Jing Shuo, Explanation of the Telescope. This mentions Galileo's observations. I thought that someone might put this in the article on Galileo. There are references in the English Wikipedia articles on Schall and the History of science and technology in China.
